One of the things that makes the Heritage Barn different is that your wedding does not have to end when the reception does. Your closest people can stay right here on the property, in three fully furnished houses just steps from the barn.

Farmhouse
5 Bedroom / 2 Bath
On-Site | Sleeps 10 Guests
An early 1800s farmhouse with vintage charm and modern touches. The Farmhouse has two queen bedrooms, two bedrooms with two twins in each (adjoined), and a full bathroom upstairs. There is another full bathroom downstairs in addition to a room with a double bed. This house has a spacious backyard with a fire pit and plenty of room for a picnic or bbq with friends & family!
Hop House
4 Bedroom / 2.5 Bath
On-Site | Sleeps 9 Guests
A cozy home overlooking our very own hop field and wedding ceremony lawn. The Hop House has one queen bedroom and two full bathrooms downstairs. Upstairs, there is a room with two twins adjoined with a room with a double bed, another room with two twin beds, and a spare twin bed at the top of the stairs. The Hop House is fully handicapped accessible.
Cottage
1 Bedroom / 1 Bath
On-Site | Sleeps 2-4 Guests
The 'honeymoon' cottage is located just across the street from the Heritage Barn. Perfect for a couple or a small family, the cottage has one bedroom with a king bed and a pullout couch in the family room. An 1800s cabin restored to its vintage charm with stained glass windows, original exposed beams & wood flooring and a serene view of a it's own private pond and forest.
Year-Round Rentals
All three of our houses are year-round vacation rentals. They are never occupied full-time and operate on a short-term basis for wedding guests, Colgate visitors, girls trips, bachelor parties, & more!
Full Kitchens
Each house has a kitchen with all cooking essentials including a Keurig coffee maker. Also included are k-cups, sugar creamer, basic spices, and olive oil for use during your stay.
Fully Furnished
Our houses are fully furnished and equipped with all of the basic home essentials including fresh sheets and towels.
Wifi & Streaming
Each house has Wifi and live tv streaming services. You are also welcome to login to any of your personal streaming accounts during your stay. There is one tv located in the living room area.
Spacious Layout
All of our houses have spacious common areas, great for family dinners, preparing for weddings, or just hanging with friends and family.
Washer & Dryer
You are welcome to utilize the washer and dryer during your visit. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are available for use.

The houses at the Dunham Homestead are available year-round as short-term rentals. Whether you are a Colgate family coming for a game weekend, a group of friends planning a getaway, or a couple looking for a quiet retreat, you are always welcome here.
